Good questions.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No call-out fee for quotes in our service area. You get a fixed price for the job before we start, and that's what you pay.
How soon can you come out?
Most jobs are booked in the same week. Urgent faults like no power or a tripping safety switch are often handled the same day.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Every job is done by a licensed electrician under our electrical contractor licence (Lic. 00000), and we carry full public liability insurance. You get a compliance certificate when the work is finished.
Do I need to upgrade my smoke alarms?
Queensland rules require photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in every bedroom, hallway and on each level. They already apply to homes being sold or leased, and to all homes from 1 January 2027. We can check what you have and quote the upgrade.
Can my switchboard handle solar, a battery or an EV charger?
Older boards often need work first. Send us a photo of yours in the quote form and we'll tell you what's needed before you commit to anything.
