Websites for plumbers

Websites for plumbers that sort the urgent jobs from the rest

Plumbing searches are split between "water everywhere, help now" and "we're thinking about a new hot water system". Your site needs to handle both, from a phone, in under a minute.

What plumbers deal with online

Plumbing is one of the most crowded trades online on the Coast. Directories, lead-selling platforms and franchise networks all compete for the same "plumber near me" search, and some of them resell the enquiry to three other plumbers. Your own site is the one place the customer deals with you and only you.

The common problems we see on plumber websites:

  • One "Services" page listing everything. Google can't tell whether you do hot water, gas or drains in Mooloolaba, so you only show up for your business name.
  • No way to send a photo. A photo of the hot water compliance plate or the leak under the vanity saves you a trip and lets you quote properly.
  • Forms that don't ask about urgency. A burst pipe and a "sometime next month" tap swap land in the same inbox with no way to tell them apart.
  • Tenants and property managers ignored. Rentals are a big slice of Coast plumbing work, and the person reporting the fault often isn't the one paying.

Service pages we'd build for a plumber

Each of these gets its own page with what you do, common causes, what affects the price and a quote button. Pick the ones that match the work you want more of:

  • Hot water repairs and replacement (gas, electric, heat pump and solar)
  • Blocked drains and CCTV drain camera inspections
  • Leak detection and burst pipes
  • Gas fitting, gas appliance installs and gas leak checks
  • Bathroom and kitchen renovation plumbing
  • Toilet, tap and cistern repairs
  • Backflow prevention testing for commercial sites
  • Rainwater tanks, pumps and stormwater
  • Emergency and after-hours plumbing

Suburb targeting for plumbers

Plumbing customers want someone close, because travel time ends up on the bill. We build suburb pages around where you're based and where the work is. A plumber in the north of the Coast might target Bli Bli, Maroochydore, Coolum Beach, Pacific Paradise, Nambour and Yandina. A southern plumber might pick Caloundra, Pelican Waters, Kawana, Birtinya, Aura and Beerwah. Each page talks about that suburb's housing and common jobs, such as older galvanised pipes in established streets or heat pump installs in newer estates, so it reads like it was written for that area, because it was.

What the quote form asks a plumbing customer

Step 1: job type (hot water, drains, leak, gas, renovation, other), suburb, how urgent (today, this week, flexible), and for hot water: gas, electric, heat pump or solar.

Step 2: name, phone, email, owner, tenant or property manager, and up to three photos, such as the compliance plate or the problem itself.

That last question matters more than it looks. If it's a tenant, you know to confirm who's approving the work before you turn up. Our guide on quote forms that convert explains why we keep it to two short steps.

Which design suits a plumber

Coastal was drawn with plumbers in mind: bright, friendly and easy to trust when you're asking someone into their home. Hi-Vis suits plumbers who push emergency work and want the call button front and centre. If you mostly do renovation plumbing alongside builders, Showcase lets the finished bathrooms do the talking.

Plans start from $990. See current pricing for what each one includes.

Questions

Can the website show I'm available for emergencies?

Yes. We can add an emergency call bar that you switch on and off from the admin, so it only shows when you're taking after-hours work.

Should I list my prices on a plumbing website?

Fixed prices for every job rarely work in plumbing, but a call-out fee, a starting price for common jobs or an explanation of what affects the cost helps. It filters out price shoppers and builds trust with everyone else.

Will the site show my licence number?

Yes. Your QBCC licence number goes in the footer and on the about section, and we include your gas fitting licence if you hold one. Customers and property managers look for it.

Do you set up Google Business Profile for plumbers?

Yes, on every plan. We set the right primary category, add secondary categories like gas installation service where they fit, map your service area and give you a short review link.
